Wednesday evening at 6:38pm Prestonsburg Dispatch informed informed us that there was a wreck blocking both North-bound lanes and the passing South-bound lane along US 23 in front of Skean’s Marathon.

Facebook posts made through the Floyd County Sheriff Department inform us that there were two separate accidents along the route in the Ivel area.

We know the first wreck involved two vehicles and emergency personal were on the scene.

No information has been released on the second accident.

At around 6:46 pm we received word that all incidents were cleared and all lanes of traffic were open.
