James D. (Jim) Cox, age 88 of Paintsville, died Saturday February 22 in Prestonsburg, KY. Jim was born Feb. 7, 1932 in Paintsville to the late Ben H. and Mary Ethel Wheeler Cox.

Friends may visit the Southside Free Will Baptist Church on Monday February 24, from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. and after 9 A.M. Tuesday. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday February 25, at 11 A.M. at the Southside Free Will Baptist Church with Wayne Price officiating. Entombment will follow in the Cox Family Cemetery in Paintsville.
