A logging accident has occurred close to Old Abbott Mountain Road. As of now, we know that at least one person has been injured and planned to be transported from the Big Sandy Prestonsburg campus. A helicopter is currently on site and standing by for transport. At least six emergency vehicles, not including two ambulances are currently on site. If you are travelling on University Drive in Prestonsburg, there may be delays. This is a working story and we will update you as more information comes in.
