Traffic stop on Ky 777, in the Langley area, leads to Drug Arrests:
Martin City Police Officer B. Stidham issued a stop on a 2012 Totyota Rav 4 Black in color operated by William A. Johnston of Georgetown KY during the early morning hours on April 16, 2020 at approximately 2:00AM.
After a short investigation Officer B. Stidham discovered that Mr. Johnston was wanted out of Fayette and Jesamine counties on several charges.
After further investigation Officer B. Stidham located a small amount of a brown powder substance believed to Heroin in Mr. Johnston’s possession.
The passenger of the vehicle was Paul Landsaw of Winchester KY.
During the investigation Officer B. Stidham located a small bag of a white crystal like substance believed to be Methamphetamine.
William A. Johnston was Arreseted and charged on
3 outstanding warrants, 2 out of Fayette County and
1 out of Jessamine County.
He was also charged with
Poss Cont. Sub. 1st Deg 1st Off. (Heroin)
Paul Landsaw was Arrested and charged with
Poss. Cont. Sub. 1st Deg. 1st Off (Methamphetamine)
Both Subjects were transported to and lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
