Officials with the Cumberland Valley District Health Department confirmed a second Coronavirus death in Jackson County on their Facebook page this afternoon.

We’re told that the patient was an 85-year-old man who was a resident at the Jackson Manor nursing home. His death is the second seen by the facility, where at least 40 other residents and staff members have tested positive for the virus.

In addition to the death, Health Department officials also reported four new cases in the county today, April 17th, 2020.
