In 2013, Trooper Anson ‘Blake’ Tribby was killed in a crash. According to officials reports Tribby was driving his personal vehicle when he struck another vehicle. The Clark County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene. Tribby had severed at KSP Post 8 in Morehead for over two years. The Kentucky State Police, the Transportation Cabinet and the Tribby Family have gotten a stretch of highway dedicated to the fallen Civil Servant.
