Early Thursday morning on May 28, 2020 Martin City Police Officer, Brad Sridham, was doing patrols in the Martin community and conducted a traffic stop on KY-1428 at Lee’s Ln near Arkansas Creek Road. During the traffic stop police located a baggie with a white crystal like substance believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine, a small baggie Marijuana & Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrested was Steven S. Stephens age 43 of Martin, KY charged with POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, (METHAMPHETAMINE), POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, & 3 COUNTS OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA BUY/POSSESS.

Mr. Stephens was lodged in the Floyd Co Jail.

Martin City Police were assisted by Floyd County Constables Office District#2 Gary Nelson.
