CSX is making plans to replace ties and perform repairs to two railroad crossings on KY 122 in Pike County, on July 7 and 8, according to a release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12.
According to the release, the first location will be located near Buckfield, while the second will be across U.S. 23 from Valley Veterinary Clinic on the connector from U.S. 23 to KY 122.
The release said that the highway will be closed to traffic in the work zone, and there will be signs to direct motorists to nearby detours.
Officials warn that motorists should observe all signs while in and around the work zones. Traffic will not be allowed through the work zone except for first responders on an emergency call, according to the release.
