On Thursday July 16, 2020 at approximately 2:30AM Martin City Police Officer Brad Stidham, was Dispatched to Our Lady of The Way Martin ARH Hospital in Martin, KY due to a disorderly male subject refusing to leave the property.

When Martin City Police along with the Kentucky State Police Post#9 arrived they made contact with James O. Salisbury age 44 of Ivel, KY at the Martin ARH ER waiting room. Mr. Salisbury refused to comply with the officers commands.

After a short, brief scuffle James O. Salisbury age 44 of Ivel, KY was arrested. James O. Salisbury charged with RESISTING ARREST, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2nd DEGREE.

The professionalism of Martin Police Officer Brad Stidham, along with the Kentucky State Police Post#9 resulted in a successful conclusion.

James O. Salisbury was lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
