Officials arrived at a home in the Highbottom area of Louisa with a search warrant Wednesday to investigate drug trafficking. According to police, Clarence “Curtis” Earle, was the one living in the home and was taking food stamp cards in exchange for drugs. While searching the home official’s state they discovered Suboxone packages in large amounts, pills, marijuana, needles, money, and guns. Clarence Earle, James Mullet and Christopher Mullet were all arrested. Earle was charged with drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and knowing unlawful, use of a benefits card. James was charged with conspiracy to trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence and knowingly unlawful use of a benefits card, Christopher Mullett was charged with the same charges James was, but not for the card. All three men were taken to Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
