A Bell County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a prowler complaint on Mary Street in Bell County on Saturday. The Officer said he found 27 year old Rebecca Erin Williams inside a home where she said “100 people” were in her backyard attempting to break in, after climbing through a hole in the fencing. Officers did not find anyone in Williams’ yard.
Police say Williams was “extremely intoxicated” which caused hallucinations, as well as created a dangerous living environment for her children.
Williams admitted to taking suboxone and meth before police arrived. Williams was taken to the Bell County jail, along with 39 year old Christopher Thomas Allen who was also intoxicated in the home with the children. Both are charged with second degree criminal child abuse.
The children have been placed with social services.
