Teresa Lynn “Terry” Hunter Akers, age 67 of Dana, KY, widow of Perry Akers, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1953 in Ohio, a daughter of the late David E. and Billie Meade Hunter. She was a retired office manager at Betsy Layne Elementary School and a member of the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church with Tony Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery, Dana, KY and visitation will be after 5:00 PM Monday and all day Tuesday at the church.
