The Athens post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a Fatal car crash that happened last night.

Troopers say they received a call just after 7:15 pm Sunday of a car crash on SR-144 where they say a 2003 Toyota Tundra had turned over on its side.

52 year old Marcia Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene. It is believed that Edwards drove off the right side of the road and over corrected her vehicle causing her to overturn in the left side of the road.

The crash remains under investigation.
