Scottie Douglas Samons age 39 of Van Lear passed away from this life on Thursday May 6th, 2021 at his fathers residence. Scottie was born on February 6th, 1982 in Pikeville a son to William Douglas Samons and Sherry Preece Samons.

Entombment to follow at Gethsemane Gardens in Prestonsburg.
Visitation will begin after 6pm Tuesday at the funeral home and will continue through Wednesday until the day of the funeral.
