Lexington officials say a man walked up to two other men outside of an apartment building early Saturday and shot them. The first victim was identified to be 28 year old James N. Gordon, who  later died. The second victim suffered injuries that were not life threatening. Those involved were not students, but the university sent an alert advising students to stay away from the area for a while. Arrests have not been made as of yet.
