Gillis Sturgill Jr., age 62 of Hindman, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his residence in Hindman, Kentucky. He was born on December 28, 1958 in Perry County, Kentucky to Beaulah Watts Sturgill and the late Gillis Sturgill.

Funeral services for Gillis Sturgill Jr. will be held on Saturday May 29, 2021 at 12 noon at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Hindman. Kentucky with Johnny Patrick, Bill Kirby, Jerry Kirby, and Scotty Click officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 6-10PM with services at 7PM and Friday May,28 2021 from 6-10PM with services at 7PM. Burial will follow at the Jerome Watts Cemetery in Garner Kentucky Gillis Will be missed by all the knew and loved him.
