James Brandon Preece, age 39, of Big Elk Creek, KY, passed away May 26, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1982 in South Williamson, KY to the late James L. Preece and Sarah E. (Hensley) Preece of Big Elk Creek, KY.

Brandon was a coalminer for 15 years. He loved riding dirt bikes and loved mustangs. On May 3, 2020, Brandon made the best decision of his life when he gave his life over to the Lord, and with his wife, Heather, by his side, was baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Brandon had a heart of gold and loved his boys more than life. He was loved by all of his family and was especially loved by his aunts, uncles and multiple cousins, as well as Heather’s family, Nim and Loretta Mollett, all of Heather’s siblings and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Michael Marcum and Terry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry Damron Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost.
