A man out of Indiana is now in jail in Northeastern Kentucky on multiple charges.

Fleming County Deputies say they pulled Jack Cooler over on US 68, and learned he was driving a stolen vehicle. After arresting Cooler and placing him into the police cruiser, deputies say he made his way into the driver’s seat and took off, nearly hitting a deputy in the process.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Cooler nearly struck three pedestrians in Paris, drove through a cemetery, school yard, and construction site, before finally flipping the cruiser into a pond.

Cooler is now being held in the Mason County Detention Center. He faces a extensive list of charges, including the attempted murder of a police officer.
