
Two people were killed in a Pike County crash this past Sunday. At around 3:45pm on US 23 at Foxcroft Lane, police say that a Jeep Cherokee traveling north, crossed over into the southbound lanes and struck a Chevy Equinox. Following the initial crash, a Ford Escape ran into the Equinox. A passenger of the Cherokee, 43-year-old Rebecca Miller, of Hopkins Fork, and the driver of the Equinox, 52-year-old Melissa Bowling of Knott County, died at the hospital.
Several other people were said to have been taken to the hospital with injuries.
The Pikeville Police Department continues to investigate this crash.
