Man Arrested For Drug Trafficking After Running Into Woods

A man out of Martin County is now in jail on drug trafficking charges.

 

Deputies went to a house on Long Branch Road to execute a search warrant. Upon their arrival, 47-year-old James Bailey is said to have ran away and hid in the woods. When they caught up to Bailey, deputies found him in possession of meth, marijuana, pills, and a workout supplement that, according to police, could be used to cut meth.

 

Back in the home, deputies found 27 grams of meth, numerous Xanax bars, Tylenol 3 capsules, individual bags of marijuana, digital scales, and $1,800 in cash.

 

Bailey was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth and marijuana, drug possession, and numerous other charges.
