A woman out of Perry County is now pleading guilty for her involvement in a federal carjacking case, where two others have been charged as well.
28-year-old Brandi Hurt, of Bonnyman, pleaded guilty last week to aiding and abetting a carjacking.
While in court, she confessed to being with 33-year-old Christopher Cole, of Littcarr, when the incident took place last August. Hurt admitted in her confession that she and Cole were travelling in a car with two other people, when Cole pulled a gun and forced the driver out of the vehicle. When Police later caught up to them, Hurt informed the officers that the driver of the car had left them with that vehicle voluntarily.
Hurt is now facing up to 15-years in prison when she is sentenced in November.
Cole along with 49-year-old Angela Vanover, of Hazard, remain charged in the case. They are set to go to trial in October.
