Kentucky State Police are currently investigating a single-vehicle crash that took place on I-75 in Whitley County, just north of the Kentucky-Tennessee border.
Troopers determined that 32-year-old Robert Hamlin, of Jellico, Tennessee, was traveling along the interstate in a 2008 Ford F-150 when he lost control, running off of the right side of the road and into the hillside.
During this, the truck overturned and Hamlin was thrown from his vehicle. He sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Whitley County Coroner’s Office.
