Everett Allen “Trout” Haney, Sr., age 74 of Paintsville, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville. Born August 12, 1947 in Paintsville, Kentucky he was the son of the late Chester Haney and Marie Gullett Haney.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, August 16, 2021 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 9:00pm Sunday, and anytime prior to the servce on Monday. Ronnie Spriggs will officiate.  Auxier Chapter 18 D.A.V. will conduct full Military Honors.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Phelps & Son Funeral Home to assist with expenses by calling (606) 789-8989. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
