Ruby (Simpkins) Slone, 83, of Hardy, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at her home.  Born June 14, 1938 at Naugatuck, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ermil and Alice Workman Simpkins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Lee Dotson Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Simpkins Family Cemetery at Naugatuck, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home with special services to be held at 7:00 pm.

Due to the current COVID19 situation, those that have not been fully vaccinated are asked to please wear a mask at all times and those that have been fully vaccinated, masks are highly recommended.  If you are sick or are experiencing any symptoms, the family understands and fully appreciates your refraining from attending.
