
On Thursday, August 12th, 2021 the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 3495 Ky Rt 581, in Tutor Key, at the residence of Charles Allen Chandler. The search warrant was the culmination of a year-long investigation conducted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Operation Unite, and D.E.A. London involving the trafficking of illegal narcotics into Johnson and surrounding counties.
Recovered at the scene was approximately 1,238 grams (2.7 lbs.) of methamphetamine, 18 grams of heroin, and $18,819.00 in cash.
The arrested were Charles Allen Chandler age 51, Ashley Johnson 35 of Magoffin County and Cory Brandon Johnson age 32 of Magoffin County, and Jayshawn “Dro Skino” Robinson. All have been charged with conspiracy to distribute more than a half-kilogram of meth. Chandler and Johnson were also charged with possession with the intent to distribute. Chandler was also individually charged with four counts of distribution. All defendants now face between 10-years and life in prison if they are convicted.
