Vernon Powers age 84 of Prestonsburg husband of the late Mildred Irene Collins Powers, passed away from this life on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Prestonsburg Health Care. Vernon was born on May 8, 1937 to the late Orville Powers and Annie Reed Powers.

Visitation will begin Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 6pm at the church and will continue all day Sunday, September 5, 2021

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 6, 2021 at 1pm at Goble Roberts Freewill Baptist Church, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Paul Coleman officiating

Burial will follow at Powers Family Cemetery, Calf Creek, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
