Viola Mae Stanley, 81, of Burnwell, KY, passed away Thursday September 2, 2021, at Pikeville Nursing and Rehab. Viola was born November 19, 1939, at Williamson, WV, to the late Ace Varney and Barbara Canterbury Bennett.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021, beginning at 1 PM at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home chapel, with Mitch Bowling officiating. Burial will follow at the McCoy Cemetery, Burnwell, KY, with Viola’s friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 11 AM – 1 PM. R.E.
