– Kentucky State Police at Post 8 Morehead announce the final traffic and criminal activity report for April 2016.  During April, Post 8 personnel issued 2,281 total citations.  Of those citations, 29 were for DUI, 324 were for Speeding, 209 for No Seat Belt, and 24 for Child Restraint.  In addition, there were 1,887 Vehicle Inspections and 439 Courtesy Notices issued.  Post 8 also investigated 39 Traffic Collisions, including one fatality collision in Bath County.  Post 8 investigated 1,046 Complaints, opened 80 Criminal Cases, and made 238 Criminal Arrests for the month of April.
