Charles Russell Powers, age 64 of Auxier, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Born January 17, 1957 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Freddie Powers and Madalene Bentley Powers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Auxier Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Powers Family Cemetery at Auxier, Kentucky. Bobby Joe Spencer will officiate. Friends may visit at the church on Sunday from 6:00pm-9:00pm, Monday from 9:00am-9:00pm, and on Tuesday from 9:00am until time of services at 2:00pm. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
