According to a release, on Sunday, May 08, 2016 at 8:22 a.m. After investigation it was determined that, Kodi Stamper, 23 years old of Sandy Hook, had been traveling south on KY 7 when he lost control of his 2004 Chevy Silverado, crossed the northbound lane, left the roadway struck a tree and collided with an unoccupied residence. Mr. Stamper was air-lifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV, where he is listed in stable condition. Mr. Stamper has been cited for DUI 1st Offense. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Lovett.
