Billy Eugene Reffett, age 74, of David, KY, husband of Susan Prater Reffett, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Hazard ARH, Hazard, KY.  He was born September 7, 1947 in David, KY, a son of the late Elmer and Ruby Jean Reffett.  He was a member of the Landmark Christian Church and a retired coal miner.

In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by one son; Oakie Dwayne Reffett, David, KY, one daughter, Tammy Eugenia Reffett (Danny Shepherd), David, KY, one brother; Dexter Dale Reffett, David, KY, one sister; Brenda Kay Watson, five grandchildren; Hilary Leeanne Slone, Haily Alexandra Slone, Shelby Elaine (Tim) Howard, Hannah Renee Reffett and Tucker Dwayne Reffett, one great grandson; Chandler Dean Reffett.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Glen Slone officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
