According to an article from WYMT, around 1 a.m. on Monday, Makayla Marie Mayfield was last seen at her home on McNew Lane off Slate Ridge Road roughly eight miles from London. A  Golden Alert has been issued for the teenager. Her clothing description is not known. According to a release she could cause harm to herself.  Makayla is 13 years old, she is described as standing five feet and six inches tall, and weighing 135 pounds. She has brown hair that falls to her shoulders, brown eyes and medium build.
