Johnson County Couple Facing Child Endangerment Charges

A couple out of Johnson County is now facing child endangerment charges following a report by a social worker that drugs were in their home.

 

Officers with the Paintsville City Police went to the residence on Ponderosa Drive, where they are said to have found meth in a pipe, alongside additional meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

 

A small child is said to have also been inside the home.

 

The child’s parents, 30-year-old David Spaulding, and 30-year-old Rachel Smith, were arrested.

 

Both were charged with child endangerment in addition to receiving individual charges for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
