A suspect was arrested for the theft of tires from a Mingo County garage, just a day after Sheriff’s Office officials asked for the public’s help identifying the man.

This past Thursday evening, 53-year-old Robert Music was arrested for the theft of four tires from A&B Garage in East Kermit. After loading the tires into his truck, Music is said to have crossed the river into Kentucky. He was arrested in Logan County on a charge of grand larceny in connection to the incident.

Music has a previous felony conviction from 2015, when he was convicted of burglary, theft, and other charges in Lawrence County. He was initially sentenced to 12-years in prison, but was instead released on shock probation three months later.
