Man Arrested On Several Charges After Allegedly Holding Woman Against Her Will

This past Friday night, deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home on KY 1232, following reports that a woman was being held against her will.

 

Upon their arrival, officers noticed a man attempting to escape the home through the back door. After detaining the man, later identified as 39-year-old Charles Gray, of Corbin, deputies discovered a woman who was also inside of the home.

 

The woman informed officers that Gray had raped and sexually abused her.

 

Gray has been charged with rape, sexual abuse, terroristic threatening, and fleeing and evading police.

 

He is currently being held in the Knox County Detention Center.
