Former Sheriff Pleads Not-Guilty In Assault Case

Former Owsley County Sheriff Brent Lynch has pleaded not-guilty in an assault case.

 

Lynch was arraigned on Monday morning in Perry District Court for one count of assault in the fourth-degree. According to police, Lynch is said to have assaulted a girl during a fight that broke out at a basketball game last month in Perry County.

 

Lynch has a pretrial conference on February 15th.
