A man stands accused of breaking into multiple Franklin County homes for the purpose of stealing women’s underwear.

 

Sheriff’s Office Officials say that 36-year-old John Hawkins III, of Harrodsburg, is currently facing seven counts of burglary in the second degree. This coming after a lengthy investigation into a burglary string in the Shady Acres Mobile Home Park, in Frankfort.

 

Hawkins is suspected of burglarizing homes throughout the summer of 2021, only ever taking women’s underwear.

 

Hawkins was arrested at hi Harrodsburg home this past Saturday. Officers found an estimated 100 pairs of women’s underwear and bras which were believed to have been stolen.
