A man out of Pulaski County has now been arrested after being wanted for allegedly shooting his brother and then fleeing from the scene in September of last year.
According to deputies with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Adam Showalter, of Eubank, got into an argument with his brother and then allegedly shot him in the stomach with a shotgun. It was then that Showalter fled the scene.
Officers located Showalter this past Friday afternoon at his mother’s house. Police used the PA system in one of their cruisers to lure him outside. After around 10-15 minutes, he walked outside to be arrested without incident.
Showalter is now charged with first-degree assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, tempering with physical evidence, and persistent felony offender.
He is currently being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Adam’s brother, Timothy, has since been released from the hospital and is still recovering from his injuries.
