Officials with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office are warning residents of a scam call currently circulating in Pike County.

Several reports from Pike County residents detail a call they received from a man claiming to be a member of the Sheriff’s Office while also demanding money and personal information.

The Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone that they would never call you for the purpose of demanding personal information, money or gift cards. They also say you should never give out your personal information over the phone.
