One woman is dead following a house fire in Wayne County on Tuesday.

The fire took place at 2949 RT 75, in Ceredo. The woman, identified as Theresa Stanley, is believed to be the only person who was living in the home as well as being the only one present during the fire, other than a cat who also died.

According to officials, the fire was concentrated in the living room of the home and there is no visible damage on the outside.
