Ruth Ann Howard, age 67 of Van Lear, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born January 18, 1955 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Shurlin Wesley McCoy and Lucy Vertie (Blackburn) McCoy.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, February 3, 2022 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the McCoy Family Cemetery at Pilgrim, Kentucky. Nathan Lafferty will officiate. Friends may visit at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00-9:00pm and on Thursday after 9:00am until time of services at 11:00am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
