Eric Gene Blankenship, age 42 of Weeksbury, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born October 18, 1979 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Judy Pennington Blankenship of Weeksbury, Kentucky and the late Ranny Blankenship.

Visitation will begin Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 6pm at the church and will continue all day Monday, February 7, 2022

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 12 noon at Ligon Freewill Baptist Church, Ligon, Kentucky with Josh Hall, Jeremy Lucas & Matt Bryant

Burial will follow at Blankenship Family Cemetery, Ligon, Kentucky
