Officials with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office have recently made an arrest in a burglary investigation.

27-year-old John L. Carpenter, of Lily, was arrested at around 8:00 PM on Monday evening. He stands accused of burglarizing a home off of Mount Zion Road in Laurel County on January 24th. Afterwards he is said to have driven away from the property.

He is currently being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
