A man out of Knott County is now in jail after being indicted by a federal grand jury.

45-year-old Tony Minor, of Pippa Passes, has been charged with a possession count for more than 50-grams of meth and 40-grams of Fentanyl with the intent to distribute. He also faces charges for using a firearm during a drug crime and felon in possession of a firearm.

These charges stem from an incident on February 10th, wherein Minor was allegedly involved in a police chase, which is said to have led to the discovery of a large amount of meth, Fentanyl, pills, and marijuana within his home.

Minor now faces between 10-years and life in prison since he was previously convicted of drug trafficking in 2014.

Minor is now being held at the Kentucky River Regional Jail, in Hazard.
