James Lee McKenzie, age 72, of  Flat Gap, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Paintsville ARH.

James was born December 21, 1949, in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Sebastin McKenzie and Esta Susan Salyer McKenzie.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Thursday, March 31, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Matthew Craft and Tim Salyer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Patty Flats Cemetery, Flat Gap, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 12:00 Noon.
