
The arrests of two men were announced by the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a theft and breaking and entering case.
The men were said to be targeting homes that had received damage during the Hurley flood.
Brandon Estep, of McCarr, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, grand larceny of a firearm, brandishing/pointing a firearm, and breaking and entering with a deadly weapon.
Nathan Alexander Jewel, of Hurly, Virginia, was also arrested and charged with two counts of breaking and entering.
Christopher Harrison, of McCarr, was charged, but deputies are said to still be searching.
