Deputies responded to the scene of the call at a home on Webb Branch Road, at around 2:30 AM on Tuesday. 27-year-old Skyler Kestner was reported by his girlfriend, who informed police he had gotten drunk and began hitting, pushing, biting, and strangling her.

During the course of the altercation, the girlfriend explained Kestner hurt their 2-year-old child and then refused to let her check on him, explaining he would be okay. She finally called for help after Kestner passed out.
