Officials with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest that wound up confiscating around a pound of meth in addition to over $3,000 in cash.

Three individuals were arrested at the scene on Highway 421 North, near the state line. According to a release from the Sheriff’s Department, the meth that was confiscated was worth approximately $50k.

The arrested were 24-year-old Michael Vineyard, of Ohio, 25-year-old Carlton Adams, of Ohio, and 44-year-old Stephen Elliot, of Loyall.
