Earl Winston Thompson, age 78, of Prestonsburg, KY, husband of Deborah Lee Shepherd Thompson, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY.  He was born May 28, 1943 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Ballard and Josephine Adkins Thompson.  He was a retired school teacher and guidance counselor.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
