The names of the individuals who were killed in a traffic accident on Saturday night at Carter Caves State Resort Park, have been released.

41-year-old Jitu Galani and 39-year-old Nitu Galani, of Beavercreek, Ohio, were both pronounced dead by Carter County Coroner William Waddell. The couple’s 4-year-old son is said to have also passed away.

The older son, an 11-year-old boy, managed to free himself from the vehicle and flag down a park ranger for help.

According to police, Jitu Galani was driving a 2014 Honda CRV that rolled backward over a culvert, landing on its top in a creek.

According to officials, the family had planned to camp with another family at Carter Caves, after their vacation to Virginia Beach, before heading home to Beavercreek.
